I recently bought an iPhone 13 pro and after trying to connect my watch series 1 it won’t do anything. It says on my phone in needs an update but will not update. My watch won’t get past the first screen. Is there anything else i can try?

All I can suggest is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it. Or use the online Apple Support if that is not possible. Either way:
