Selling an iphone then transfering the data to new(future iphone) while not having the old one

Hi, what about If I sell my current iphone (erase all data and reset) then few weeks later I would buy a new iphone, what options do I have. Will I be able to transfer the all old data (photos, contacts, notes, apps, whatsapp data) to the new iphone? (Won’t be able to have the old iphone and the new iphone at the same time)

Hi

its possible

You would need to make a backup to iCloud or a computer first, then once you have the new iPhone restore that backup

I have included the steps for backing up and restoring a backup also.
