Is my iPhone 11 software up to date with my new SIM card?

On iPhone, Sim cards contain nothing more than your telephone number and have nothing to do with keeping the operating system up to date.

If you go to Settings > General > About > Version > If your phone is on iOS 15.0.1, you are up to date. If you version is lower, you are not up to date.

Thank you so much! I am ready to update to iOS 15 I just was unsure if the bugs was worked out of it. I updated my service and I got a new SIM card and new phone number but I looked my trust certificate up and it is not showing to be the correct one. I tried to save my voicemail and it wouldn’t save. I have 2 imei for some reason I hope I can get it figured out

You could have two IMEI because you have dual Sim phone and if in the US, you could have a physical and eSim attached to your phone or if your phone was made for China, Macau or Hong Kong, two physical sims.

Again, the sim card does not make a phone up to date. I've been on iOS since minutes since it was released and now iOS 15.0.1 without any troubling hiccups at all.

I understand I keep my updated and just updated to iOS 15 have always kept it updated but it was not about anything being updated it was why I have 2 Imei but thank you for your time
