Ipad 7th generation
I have an Ipad 7the generation bought last August 2020. I have measured the screen and it is 11.5inches but there doesn’t appear to be an Ipad of that size. Would this be an called 11inch?

If the iPad is working - and you can access iPad Settings - the easiest way to identify your iPad model number (that does not require a magnifying glass and good light to read the laser etched number from the casing) is to look at iPad Settings:
Settings > General > About
Here you will find the model number in two forms (just tap on the model number field to toggle between the two), your installed version of iPadOS - and other technical detail.

A 2019, 7th gen, base model iPad has a diagonal screen corner to screen corner of 10.2 inches ( approx. 10-1/4 inches ).
IF you own a 2020 iPad Air 4, that iPad has a iPad screen has a diagonal corner to corner measurement of 10.9 inches ( approx. 10-15/16 inches ) and has the same outer case and dimesional size as the 2018-2021, 11 inch screen iPad Pro models.
Can you, please, confirm what year and model iPad do you have/own?
The “A” model number can be found on the aluminium back of your iPad, in very small print, right under the larger bold print “iPad” on the back of the iPad.
As I, already, stated, A 2019,, 7th gen iPad has a 10.2 inch diagonal screen.
When you look for covers and cases for this iPad, you need to use all of the info.
If you search places like Amazon, search for cases and covers, use the similar search terms
cases for 2019 7th gen iPad 10.2, A2197.
This is how you will find the exact size case/cover for your iPad model pretty much everywhere.
Best of Luck to You!`
There is an 11 inch iPad Pro. A 10.5 inch iPad Pro. 10.5 inch iPad Air.
and 10.2 inch iPad.there is no 11.5 inch iPad. Are you sure it’s not 10.5?
The screen size is measured diagonally between the corners of the visible screen - excluding bezels.
Definitely bigger than a 10.5 so, as I suspected, it is an 11inch. Thanks so much for your answer, most helpful.
I bought it in August 2020. The 7th generation A2197 - it is almost impossible to see this!
Hopefully I have the correct numbers. I think it is 11ins, as others have confirmed this. I was measuring from the bezel rather than just the screen.
Thank you for your help
So therefore you have an 11 inch iPad Pro.
Thank you
I know the model number as it is in the ‘Settings’ but nothing in that information tells me the size. I have had some advice now and think it is an 11inch screen. Thank you for your help.
