Second hand phone

I bought a second hand iphone 6 s when i turned it on, it said that the previous persons icloud has not been signed out . They have immigrated so I cant get hold of them to sign out. What are my options?

iCloud deletion I recently bought an iPhone X off of someone and their iCloud was signed into the phone after I purchased it. I’m trying to sign out of it and sign mine in but I don’t have their password or phone number. Please help

No option. If you can’t get the Apple ID and password to unlock the phone, it is useless to you. Recycle it and buy a phone you can use.
