Sometimes, after turning on the screen, the phone unlocks, but does not go to the desktop and the sensor does not react at all. Touch the screen - it doesn't turn off, but also doesn't open the desktop.

Hi SeyJ, when your FaceID sensor unlocks your phone it will not take you to the desktop screen, I believe this was a feature on the TouchID models. You just have to swipe up to unlock your iPhone. And after rebooting your iPhone will disable the FaceID feature until you login using your passcode. I hope this helped you.
