Why isn't there a "Recently Added" playlist by default in itunes on my iphone?

Please don't tell me to scroll down until I see the recently added section in the library. That's the only answer that everyone online has copy/pasted onto every website and it's devoid of any helpful instruction. There also is definitely not a button or playlist within "playlists" that plays recently added songs.

All I'm looking for is a playlist or function that lets me play recently added songs on my phone without having to go into each album to play one song, then back out of that album and into another to play the next, and so on and so forth.

As a company that prides itself on user-centric design, this is a gaping hole in the functionality of the music app.

Can someone please shed some light on this for me b/c I'm out of ideas? Thank you.
