AirDrop

My sister was trying to airdrop something from her MacBook to my iPad but it would only appear in my iPhone with the same name instead of being two options. For example, it should show Pratyush’s iPhone and Pratyush’s iPad. Can you help resolve this issue?

I can airdrop from my mac to my iphone but not from my iphone to my mac? I can airdrop from my mac to my iphone but not from my iphone to my mac! It's worked forever and then poof! Stopped working. I am on the same wifi network, I can SEE my iphone in my mac's air drop. I have air drop set to 'everyone' in both devices. (I see my iphone messages on my mac so they are communicating there) My phone says that my pics have sent, but I don't see them in my recent or downloads folders. Any ideas?

I havn’t used airdrop a lot but I do know that the receiving device must be on for it to work

perhaps these articles will have some help, maybe there’s a setting in your ipad you need to change (like receiving from known contacts, etc)
