Imovie not downloading
I am trying to download Imovie off of the Apple app store but when I click GET it will not get. Nothing happens. Why?

Are you trying to download an update of an earlier version of iMovie 10 that is on, or was on, your Mac? Do you have enough free space on your internal drive to download it? Are you using the same Apple I.D. that you used when you acquired the earlier iMovie 10 version? If so, try the procedure below:
To update/redownload iMovie 10, drag your iMovie 10 app from the Applications folder into the trash, but do not empty the trash. (You can skip that step if you had iMovie 10 on your computer before, but deleted it.) Sign in to the app store and open your purchases folder by clicking on your name at the bottom of the app store side bar. You will see your purchases displayed, including iMovie 10. Redownload/update iMovie from there. If not successful, drag your present iMovie app out of the trash (if you moved it there) and return it to the Applications folder.

I am not trying to upgrade from an earlier version and I have plenty of space on my drive. The only thing that I can think of is that my internet is a little slow. However, I am able to download other apps just fine, so I dont think I can blame it on that either.
So, the two unanswered questions: Have you ever had iMovie 10 on your Mac before, even if it got deleted? If you bought your Mac new you should have had iMovie 10 on it. Is the same Apple I.D. being used that was used at the time that the Mac was originally purchased, by you or someone else?

Ah. That's the problem. Your Apple I.D. does not match the I.D. that was originally used to purchase the computer new. So you are not able to update iMovie. Did you try the procedure that I posted in my earlier response? If not, do so and see if it just might work.
If you have access to a second Mac that you own you might be able to pull the iMovie app from there.
