CarPlay and other devices not working with new iPhone 13 Pro

iPhone 13 pro. iOS 15.0.1

Can't play music in CarPlay. When I select play, the CP Music app crashes. Screen goes black for a moment, then comes back on with song ready to play again. Repeat. Old iPhone X and Wife's iPhone 12 have no issues.

Omron Blood pressure device won't pair over bluetooth. Paired back to old iPhone X with no issue.

I just picked up my iP13 and have only tried using a few devices that link either through Bluetooth or WiFi and keep running into issues. Anyone else have trouble with 3rd party devices?

I have rebooted iPhone and all devices, un-paired and re-paired (if it will pair) all devices. Issues will not go away. My old iPX works with all devices and has no issue un-pairing and re-pairing. iPhone X still running iOS 14.8

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble with CarPlay and your iPhone. We’re happy to help.

We suggest trying the following:

1.) On your iPhone, tap Settings > Music.

2.) Under Audio, next to EQ, turn EQ off.

Restart your iPhone and test to see if the issue persists. If it does, contact Apple Support.

Not sure you read my issue?

I’m having issues with other devices as well (see above). I have already performed steps to re-pair (see above). Apple Car play won’t work.. I can get Bluetooth Music (not CarPlay) to work, but when I leave vehicle and return, it won’t link back up. I have to go through pairing process again. This is an issue with ios15 or iPhone 13 Pro. Both are new and both don’t work. My older iPhones with iOS 14 work just fine (as I stated above)
