Photos 6.0
There is a little red number on my Photos icon on my MacBook Air 2018. I believe this means there are updates to shared albums but how do I find the updates and once I have accepted or rejected them should the number go away?

The red dot does indicate that there's an update or comment made to a shared album. Go to that album to see the comment or update and the red dot will go away.
