Photos 6.0

There is a little red number on my Photos icon on my MacBook Air 2018. I believe this means there are updates to shared albums but how do I find the updates and once I have accepted or rejected them should the number go away?

To access all your photos, update this Mac to the latest version of macOS - Running Monterey 12.6 While using photos on my Mac mini, I'm getting a warning above at the bottom of the photos app. What is don't understand it that I'm running the latest version of Mac OS (Monterey 12.6). I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure this started as soon as I enabled the Share Album feature from my iPhone running 16.0. Also, when I click on the link (Learn More) from the warning, it brings me to an invalid page on the Apple site. Anyone else experiencing this?

Spontaneous change of modification date of photos libraries On my MacBook I have several Photo libraries. Each day their modification date/time is changed even if I didn't use Photos or any other photo app. I am intrigued why those dates are changed. What is happening? Does anyone know?

The red dot does indicate that there's an update or comment made to a shared album. Go to that album to see the comment or update and the red dot will go away.
