Logic board issues after top-case replacement? Please help.

I have a 2017 MacBook Pro 13" sent in for battery replacement i.e. top case replacement. Had immediate issues with the screen flickering, and keyboard flickering.

After screen replacement and another top case replacement. They called and said a new logic board was required which is not covered and costs S$600. The device didn't have any issues prior to the battery/ top-case replacement apart from the service battery replacement warning.

Now the store manager says he can't do anything. Anyone else face logic board issues after top case replacement?

It would not surprise me that the battery issue may have been caused by the Logic Board, but the tech would not be able to confirm this until the battery had been replaced. These USB-C Apple laptops have so many design issues and the Logic Boards can easily be damaged by accessories & peripherals especially using a non-Apple charger. Use only high quality products from well respected manufacturers to minimize the chances of damage to the Logic Board. Because of all the issues I've encountered repairing our organization's USB-C Macs I will not recommend them to anyone as these are the worst computers Apple has ever made. Of course this all assumes that a tech did not make a mistake too. Unfortunately there is no way for anyone to know for sure. It really does not surprise me that a Logic Board needs to be replaced on a USB-C Apple laptop.
