Apple Watch SE Cellular Battery Life

I purchased 2 SEs recently and the battery life between them are not the same. I’ve turned off app refresh and wake on wrist raise on both watches. These changes helped with battery life on 1 watch (SE1) but not the other (SE2). On a full charge, SE1 will be around 40% after 13 hours, while SE2 will be at 10% after 6 hours. Since both watches are brand new, I replaced SE2 at apple just last weekend as it was getting close to end of our return window. Nothing has improved with the replacement. Both watches were set up as brand new.

AW-SE 1 was setup using family setup

AW-SE 2 was setup using a different iPhone and not through family setup

Both have cellular set up and they appear to be working. I have not come across any posts where people have seen battery performance differences based on using familysetup or not so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. Any ideas how I can improve battery life on SE2? Thank you

I have this exact same issue. Apple Watch SE only 3 months old set up using family sharing. Battery life was relatively fine, could last a 12 hour use day, with WatchOS 7. However, upon updating to WatchOS 8 battery life diminishes to only a few hours at best. 100% to 0% in just over an hour, at best two hours. I’ve done everything, all troubleshooting steps with Apple Support, and now have a replacement SE from Apple that STILL experiences the same problem. I am at a loss. Have you had any resolution to your similar issue?
