Watch 6 damage internally due to water

Just want to know that if the watch is used in rainy days & while swimming within its limitations still if water goes in & liquid corrosion occurs due to which watch stops working but its still in warranty period so in that case who is responsible for it?

What will apple do in this scenario?

will it help the customer to repair it for free?
