Invalid screen broadcasting session on my iPad

While i'm sharing my screen, I get an error message “Live broadcast to: <My Using App> has stopped due to: Attempted to start an invalid broadcast session” . It's occur when I try to rotate the screen.

What can I do to stop this error in the future?

Very often, in such a situation, a "forced" restart of your iPad can be helpful:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top (power) button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top (power) button. Only when the Apple logo appears (it might take 15-30 seconds), release that button (ignore all other screens that might appear).


If the issue persists and it is related to a specific app only, contact their developer team and ask them, using these instructions:--> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
