Rewire Sibelius

I have Logic Pro, Sibelius Ultimate on iMac OS 10.15.7 (Catalina).

Sibelius does not show up on an Auxiliary Track Input list. Is there a

reason for this? When I click on the Repair button in Sibelius, the

circle just keeps going round and round, and on my list of "Force Quit

Applications", it says that Sibelius is not responding. I have asked

the Sibelius form about this but have had no replies. I have used Rewire

between Logic Pro and Sibelius many times (but not very recently, so

probably not with OS Catalina - so could this be the problem?).

Maybe this helps:

reboot your computer first - always a good point to start.

Rewire On:

• in Logic: Preferences > Audio > Devices > Rewire behavior: On (live mode)

• quit logic

• in Sibelius: Play > Performance > Rewire > tempo track

• quit Sibelius

• open logic first

• open logic mixer > options > create aux-channel

• set input of aux-strip to Sibelius

• open Sibelius again

• if correct a rewire-symbol in the Sibelius transport-bar should be shown

Rewire in action:

1. Open Logic

2. Open Sibelius

Rewire Off:

• in Logic: Preferences > Audio > Devices > Rewire behavior: Off

• quit logic

• in Sibelius: Play > Setup > Playback Devices > clean up

• quit and restart sibelius

Problems?

In sibelius: Play > Setup > Playback Devices > clean up
