back up

months ago i was going to buy a new phone so i had to back up my photos and videos, when it finished i opened the gallery app and my photos and videos were gone. i’ve watched so many tutorials and tried them nothing worked.i had so much memories and i don’t want to lose them so please please help me get them back and thank you.

'If you're missing photos or videos in the Photos app' on a mobile device, click here --> https://support.apple.com/HT205912

- Check your Recently Deleted folder

- Make sure that iCloud Photos is turned on

- Sign in with the same Apple ID

- Unhide your photos



If you were not using iCloud photos to sync your photographs then they may still be stored on another device or as part of a backup. You can restore the backup ( https://support.apple.com/HT204184 ) to recover the photos but doing this will require erasing your device and restoring everything back to the time when you made that backup.

You can't get access to individual components in a backup, sorry. If you need it there may be a rather complex solution involving disabling iCloud and making multiple backups, but if you were using iCloud it won't work. If you use iCloud then those things synced by it won't be in a backup.
