My iPhone keeps converting all of my PNG files to JPEG. Is there going to be a solution for this anytime soon? It’s getting old, and it’s been an ongoing situation for a long time. Numerous threads about this situation and I have yet to find a fix.

This seems to go back to the beginning of iPhone. It seems that you either need a different device, or you need the developers of the apps you use to update their apps to allow access to the Files app.

Thanks, I appreciate the response. I don’t believe it’s the apps I’m using. It even happens with PNG files that are sent to me. They were all PNG photos but over time my iPhotos have converted them. It has been happening consistently. Doesn’t matter where I get them from. If I save them to my phone they will be PNG and then a couple hours, days, or sometimes weeks later they convert to JPEG
