Can NOT hear caller

Often when I receive a call I cannot hear the caller but they can hear me. They have to call back or I call them back. It has nothing to do with the volume. It happens often. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I have excellent reception in the areas where I am receiving these calls so it is not a reception problem.

If you have a hearing or sound issue on your device then please try some of these processes to set it right

If the above options do not mitigate the issues then Contact your carrier and then Contact Apple Support
