Can AppleCare be transferred over to another purchaser?

thinking of selling my 2019 MacBook Pro. It still has AppleCare+ of about year and several months. Can AppleCare be transferred to another owner?

Possibly. See: Transfer your AppleCare plan - Apple Support

Another option is to cancel for a partial refund: Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support
