Local Canadian calls labelled as from U.S.

Lately, when I receive or place local phone calls, the place of origin or outgoing site destination or is given as Steel City, New Jersey, when they are actually local calls in Canada. Why is this happening? Is it a problem?

It is a problem with the cell service providers.
