How to turn off face recognition on iPhone?

Is there a way to turn off face recognition on those iPhones that use face recognition to unlock? I'm afraid that the face recognition won't work well when I wear eyeglasses? If I am able to turn face recognition off, would I be able to use fingerprint recognition in stead, or would I have to use the pin?
