Upgrade the OS or use another web browser.
If you need to patch Safari, click here, or choose Utilities from the Finder's Go menu, open the Script Editor, and run:
do shell script "curl -k https://letsencrypt.org/certs/isrgrootx1.der > ~/Downloads/isrgrootx1.der"
Double-click the downloaded certificate.

btw i'm in the uk, i posted this at 15:37, even though it states 'Posted on Oct 8, 2021 7:37 AM' in the info.
my date and time appears correct on my machine, is this just a time difference display, or have a travelled back in time too?!
Hi Neil, both of those links are blocked by the NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID issue
there are no available updates for El Capitan (as far as i can tell)
firefox won't d/load unless with this version
google and safari both leave me with the same issue
😞
have stopped the time travel thing, now just want to solve the NET::ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID thing!
Use the Script Editor as described above instead of a web browser.
