This happened before I updated to new software 15.0.1………I have no option to cut and paste text after I highlight the section I want. A black box appears above highlighted text containing the words Copy, Lookup, Translate, Share and New Quick Note. But no Cut or Paste. Not sure what I did to cause these two options to disappear, but I can’t seem to find a solution. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your ideas….

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue with editing text since updating your iPadOS. We're happy to provide some information to assist.
If the issue is only occurring in a specific app, we'd recommend closing that app and reopening to test. The guide here has the steps if you have any trouble: Quit and reopen an app on iPad
Should the issue continue, test a normal restart of your iPad: Restart your iPad
The option to complete these tasks should still be there according tot he guide here: Select, cut, copy, and paste text on iPad We'd also recommend testing the gestures outlined to see if the text will cut or paste as expected. If the issue remains, confirm if it's with any app or a specific one and we'll continue to assist.
