ios 15.0.1 has my iPhone 11 stuck in dark mode, restart and hard restart have not fixed

How do you turn of the dark mode. Display & Brightness is set at Light (but it is dark mode).


What is the other way fix this Apple fault in ios 15.0.1

Is it possible that Smart Invert is accidentally set to ON? Double Check by opening Settings ➔ Accessibility ➔ Display & Text Size ➔ Smart Invert: Here, ensure that Smart Invert, Color Filters and Classic Invert are all set to OFF.


If the above is not the issue, then Force ReStart your iPhone. I know that you may have performed this, however, wanted to ensure that it was performed correctly. Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).
