what bluetooth version is apple using?

Purchased a MacBook Pro 13" and am curious as to what bluetooth version they are using? Is it 5.0? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I couldn't pull up the specs on the laptop to see what it is currently running.

Yes both Intel or M1 2020 hardware wireless communication standard is Bluetooth 5.0

You can see this in the tech Specs for your machine.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) - Technical Specifications

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports) - Technical Specifications

You have to go back to 2017 MBP for the older Bluetooth 4.2

and early 2015 MBP for Bluetooth 4.0
