Is anyone else having trouble getting ECG to work with iPhone 12 Pro? I upgraded my watch from a 3 to series 6 for this feature and I have tried everything suggested to get ECG on my watch. The app says open but will not open. I’m disappointed this hasn’t been fixed with the 12 pro.

You are looking in the App Store, that is not where you open the app. Press the side button and find the ECG icon just like you find and press any other app, it is already on your Watch.

I restarted everything once again and low and behold the ecg app appeared as did the set up in the health app! Not sure why but it’s working now!! Thanks for your help!!

It should work on an iPhone 12 Pro. I have the series 6 and iPhone 12 pro myself and it works fine.
Is the ECG app approved by the country you live in?
Can you post some screen shots, particularly the app you are selecting on your Watch and what shows after you tap it.
So you purchased the Watch in the USA and you live in the USA, is that correct? And you are trying to set it up in the USA? What steps are you taking and what happens? Any error messages?
Yes all USA. I updated the watch and the phone. Reset network settings too. The health app does not have the set ecg prompt to install. On the watch the ecg says open but will not open. No other error messages.
Is there another way to see what apps are in the dock? I was not able to install the app and have access to printing or saving ECG. Sorry to be a dunce but I am not usually so befuddled with my Apple products. I have the latest update on the phone which I think is 15.
My heart app on the phone doesn’t allow to install the ecg app. Any suggestions?

There isn’t a prompt to install the ECG app as you can see on the second screenshot. The watch says open on that app but it will not open. I’ve updated unpaired re-paired and still nothing.
That’s the problem it is not on the watch
If it is showing Open in the App Store it is on your Watch.
