Text tone on two devices

I have a text tone I purchased and it works great on my phone (12 Pro) until I also set it on my iPad Pro then the phone reverts to the default tone. If I reset it on my phone, the iPad resets to the default. Only one device will play the tone at a time… (Both on latest iOS 15)

We can definitely understand wanting to use your purchased text tones on both of your devices. You should be able to use the tone on both devices without issue so lets troubleshoot a bit. Have both devices been restarted?
