Create alias with iCloud custom domains

Hello,

I own a domain and my emails are not hosted by Apple yet.

My wife and I have aliases that distributes emails to our mailbox.

Let’s take an example.

The address info@domain.com redirect all emails to me@domain.com and her@domain.com.

Is there a way to achieve the same using iCloud custom domain ?

I called the support team but the were not able to understand my question 😔

Thanks for your help.

Hello AlexandreMat,

We see you have a question regarding custom email domain for iCloud Mail, and we can help pass along info.

You can find all available information on what this feature is, and how it works here: Use Custom Email Domain with iCloud Mail

There is some further info including things to do before you begin here: Add a custom email domain for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com

Take care.

Hi Eric_G1,

Thanks for your reply.

i manage to configure my custom domain correctly but I had you revert it when I noticed I was not able to keep the alias feature I currently have on my server.

In fact I’m more looking for a distribution group.

You can find some information regarding the feature I use here : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/setup/create-distribution-lists
