Creating a child Apple ID - error asking for valid payment method when I already have one.

When trying to create a child account, I get an error "To provide consent...,a payment method is required." But I have a valid payment method. CC for Apply Pay. Removed it and re-added it, still valid. Still thinks I don't have one.

Hi madhani,

Apple support have articles online that may help you:

Create an Apple ID for your child

If you still need help, try:

Create or use an Apple ID without a payment method

Or

If you can't remove your last payment method or use no payment method with your Apple ID
