Hi, I recently updated to iOS 15, and now when I am filling in a form on Safari, my email address in autofill is replaced by “Hide My Email” unless I actually start typing it in. This is annoying, as I do not want to use Hide My Email most of the time. How can I turn this off?

I just had the same issue and contacted customer service we eventually figured it out after 30 minutes. Open settings then go to Safari then go to auto fill then turn the toggle switch on for use my info. Then you will now have the option to auto fill your email again or hide my email voilà!
But I am wanting auto fill to kick in without having to search my passcodes.
Understood. Mine does that on sites where the prompt is clearly for a repeat visit to a site, and logging in. However, if you are on a screen where signing up as a new user is an equally valid option as logging in for a repeat visit is where things don’t work as well, and I may have to intervene.

I am having same issue with hide my email
hiding auto fill and typing out everything. Can you please explain the steps to fix it with the contact? Do you mean your own contact? How do I find that? Thx! Sorry not v techy
I have this issue with masOS/Monterey. It has rendered autofill useless on most sites and makes Safari clunky and annoying. At this point, I'd just as soon disable Hide My Email completely, but I can't find any way to do that.
I think it was suggested to get rid of hide my emails for websites that may be listed in your settings. I did this and entered my contact info. Then I went to my contacts and deleted my emails and sorted them by priorities I.e first to show on my profile. Voila no more hide my email and both emails show with main one first in autofill.
Previously I first tried pointing my iPhone to the north at 2:30 pm and prayed to the sun gods.
That worked about as well as the Apple response I have seen.

I am having the same problem, and it is very frustrating that my email address does not automatically populate. Instead, I see hide my email. I don’t use hide my email. I don’t want to use hide my email.
None of the fixes of workarounds have worked for me. I have resigned myself to having a very expensive un smart phone with manual input for emails instead of autofill. Hoping enough people complain and apple fix it
