I am facing this bug. Sometimes it works if i keep taping on the button but mostly its not responding. button is working properly. there is no damage done. it just randomly stopped working. Is this a software bug? When will apple fix this bug?

It could be dust or oil compromising the functionality of the key. Try cleaning to fibre cloth and see if its working and try to re-register fingers . its good to have more than 1 register just in case.
