Payment for 50GB iCloud storage plan had failed

I purchased the 50GB storage plan for iCloud for my device and have been doing so for months without an issue. However, on 5th October,2021, I repeatedly got the message that my payment had failed. I made several attempts to edit this information and to fix this issue, even added new cards, but it just wouldn’t get fixed. This was before I updated my device to the latest version of iOS, but the problem still persists. Has anyone encountered this issue before? I don’t want to lose the data I stored on iCloud. Please help.

Hi Vijay_

Welcome to the Apple Community,

where some of us do our best to help each other troubleshoot.

Wondering

  • whether you are using iPhone or iPad ?
  • whether the expiry date on your card may have expired ?
  • if you may have exceeded the limit on your card that day ?

Your Apple ID is the account you use to access Apple services,

such as the App Store, Apple Music, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime and more.
