My MacBook Pro is stuck in an upgrade loop I can’t get out of!

I am trying to update my 2014 MacBook Pro to Big Sur and even though I removed items for more space it is stuck in a loop and won’t mount my HD to go back to Mojave I. Recovery mode.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

Update from what to what? Mojave to Big Sur... should not be an issue in itself.

Revert your Mac to a previous macOS version

Boot into Internet Recovery (Option Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities>  Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD (and the "Macintosh HD-Data" volume as well if Catalina/Big Sur) If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.

Disk Utility>View>Show All Devices The best sequence is —

• Volume level

• Container level

• Parent drive

Something looks very off in the picture supplied " Macintosh HD - Data - Data - Data- Data " As to whether that is the cause - do not know.

Any chances there any AntiVirus, Disk Cleaner, Optimizers, Un-installers, etc installed which should be removed as per Developers Instructions. They are useless, unneeded, cause havoc and interfere with the normal operation of the OS and may even Corrupt the OS requiring a Reinstallation. The Built-in Security of Big Sur is all that is required.
