iCloud for Windows did not install properly.

icloud for windows will not integrate with Outlook on Office 365, Windows 10 . Upon attempting to set icloud to sync with Outlook and hitting Apply, I get the message: "iCloud for Windows did not install properly. To repair it, you need to go to Apps and features, select iCloud Outlook from the app list and click Modify. When prompted, click on Repair." Following those instructions does not change anything. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Outlook and all my apple products with no effect. There is a handy button to report the problem to Apple, but all that does is create an email of the technical aspects with no address to send it to. There were numerous similar questions in 2019 on this forum but the answers no longer display when I try to open them.
