Transfer files from iPod Nano to iPhone

How to transfer music from an old iPod Nano (no bluetooth) to my iPhone. Using my MacBook Pro, I can see all the files on my Nano in iTunes as a drive in my library and on my desktop.

Hello Joemiller48,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you'd like to transfer music from your iPod nano to your Mac.

Unfortunately, there isn't supported a way to accomplish this. All music would have been sync to the iPod nano from a computer originally. You wouldn't be able to transfer them back to that computer or to another computer.

If you'd like to provide some feedback about this, then we'd recommend doing it on the Apple website: Product Feedback

Hoping this helps out, take care.
