iPhone screen flickering

Is this screen flickering only happening in this third-party app? If so, are there any updates available for WhatsApp? Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try if the app is not working as expected: If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open.

You also mentioned your device getting warm or too warm. Take a look at Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures. In some instances, your device may get warm but should return to a regular temperature.

I’m having the same issue with the flickering screen. But only since iOS 15 update.. My 12 Pro Max has even been replaced because of it. I’ve restarted it and also restored it. But it’s still doing it.. It seems to have gotten worse with update 15.0.2
