Today View takes up half of screen and doesn't open properly.

Since switching to an iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 15.0.1 Today View no longer operates correctly.

I swipe from left to right on the first panel of my home screen and Today View arrives to the right of my screen taking up just under half of the screen.

It's really hard to operate like this and also hard to get rid of (I can scroll up and down if I get my finger exactly right).

I've attached an image, I've been searching online for a solution and can't even find it reported. Hope someone has seen this before and can help. I use today view a lot and it's annoying not having it working.
