At least four times today (I've lost count), I have been asked to sign into my AppleID in Music (1.1.6.37) on my Macbook Pro (macOS Big Sur 11.6). I can't recall the last time I needed to sign into my AppleID in Music. Why am I getting these prompts? How can I make them go away?

We understand that you're being asked to sign in to your Apple ID on your Mac. Are you an Apple Music or iTunes Match subscriber? If so, this may be why you're being asked to sign in. You should be able to proceed with signing in with your Apple ID to dismiss the message.

I am not a subscriber to Apple Music or iTunes Match. I normally only get asked to validate my Apple ID credentials when I purchase something from the iTunes Store.
