I was pairing my watch and stopped the update and made me go to the start of the process. I am stuck on the bring iPhone near watch but nothing pops up and nothing happens when I scan the watch nothing happens like it won’t show the continue I hope it made sense

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.
Go to Find iPhone.
Click All Devices at the top of the screen.
Click your Apple Watch.
Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.
Click Remove from Account.
Then follow the steps on this page;
What model of phone is it and what version of ios is it running?
What model of watch is it and what version of WatchOS is it running?.
What troubleshooting steps have you tried?.
What errror messages are you receiving?.
