iPhone 11 restarting every 2-3 minutes

My iPhone11 has been restarting by itself every 2-3 minutes for the past 3 days. I have tried downloading the new software update many times but my phone cannot stay on long enough in order to complete the update.

I would restore it to factory settings but I really don't want to because my iPhone is not recently backed up. And I have been trying to back it up, but once again my phone won't stay on long enough in order to complete a backup. Additionally, none of my phone calls or facetimes are working.

An Apple Customer Support rep told me that it was a "pressure sensor error". This is most likely due to a crack on my screen. How/why does my phone automatically restart every 2 minutes and 45 seconds because of a hardware issue??

Hello there,

If you have not been successful updating your device directly inside the settings, you can try to update using a Mac or Windows PC.

If you’re still having issues downloading the update with a computer, you’ll want to follow the instructions in this link to restore your iPhone and set it up as new: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252

I know you mentioned you don’t want to reset your device, but at this point, if the device isn’t staying on long enough, you won’t be able to back put the device.

If you’re still having issues after attempting a restore, then you’ll know the issue is with the phones hardware itself. Depending on your warranty, you may want to look at upgrading options. Your particular issue usually requires a whole unit replacement, here’s a link to service prices: https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/service

Hope this helps!
