As long as you can produce legitimate proof that you are the original owner (which must include the serial, IMEI or MEID number) you can request unlocking as detailed here: Activation Lock - Support. Note that the process will completely erase the device.

If you have any proof that legitimate proof that you bought the device and are the owner, you can request an Activation Lock request. (Please note that this will completely wipe the device, restoring from a local backup will re enable Activation Lock.)

To start an Activation Lock request you'll need your receipt that proof your purchase, and IMEI or MEID number and serial number.

You need to be the original owner and have the purchase document, which must show the serial, MEID, or IMEI number.
