Yellow squares on screen

Hi I like using the computer reader by highlighting text and pressing option+esc keys, and I started noticing some yellow squares started to appear as the reader function goes on. It happens especially when it is reading and I scroll down to have a better look on the content and as well, when I make it go faster or slower.

They disappear when I restart, but it's kind of inconvenient. Is there a way to refresh the screen and make 'em disappear?

Try relaunching the Finder on the fly...

>Force Quit>Finder>Relaunch

If no resolve try a SafeBoot to clear system cache files, reboot as normal to test.

Hi I tried force quit of finder, and the yellow squares don't disappear. (which they do when I restart or turn off and on the computer).

I did restarted in safe mode, and try option+esc to read aloud and, I heard nothing, but the highlighting feature was working. Tried and yellow squares reappeared but... I found out how to recreate the issue on will :)

See, it happens when I have a second screen connected to the hdmi port.

I highlight the text I want the computer to read for me and press option+esc.

It starts reading normally. Everything is fine.

When I move the cursor the screen number two AND move the mouse to dock and get out. The highlighted yellow square attaches to screen.

Now to do it again, I have to get back to screen 1, go down to its dock, and get out of it, and it will attach another yellow square or rectangle.

Try it on yours and see if the result is the same.
