Apple Music Downloads

I have three of five authorized devices. I am downloading songs in a playlist. On random songs I get an error message that "There was a problem downloading <song name>. Your authorized device limit has been reached."

The files in question each have a tmp folder in my downloads folder with a download.movpkg file in each.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey gcdoyle,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! We understand you're seeing an alert about your authorized device limit being reached. We'd like to help.

Have you tried deauthorizing each device listed, and then reauthorizing them back one at a time? If not, give that a go please, and let us know if that helps get this resolved.

See and remove your devices that are associated with Apple ID purchases

Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases

Best regards.

Thank you. I de-authorized all my devices, then authorized just the one device I'm attempting to download the songs to.

When all the other files are downloaded, the Activity window shows: "0% stopped (err = -100400)" for the same files as last time.

If I click Resume Downloads in the Activity window, I get the following error window:
