Apple ID Password - Verification Failed

Updated to ios 15.0.2 and I had to sign back in with my Apple ID.

Whenever I try to logon it times out "Verification Failed There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server".

I have since updated my password and still no luck. Please advise.
