Save option is greyed out on my excel for mac

Hi I’m unable to save an excel workbook for Mac. The save and save as options have been greyed out. Kindly assist

Saving an excel file Hi I have made 3 spreadsheets on my Mac Air and I normally save as to my desk top. It just won’t save. Are you subscribed to Microsoft 365 and signed in or if you have purchased a standalone option is it activated?
