Apple CarPlay won’t play Pandora or Apple Music

I am unable to play my music through CarPlay. It automatically connects and disconnects right away. It was fine until I updated to iOS 15. I tried troubleshooting with Apple support but that didn’t help. Turning the car off and back on did not fix it. Everything else in CarPlay seems to be working properly except music. I have a 2021 Toyota Camry and it’s compatible.

With iOS 15, Music app always starts when using CarPlay I am a Deezer and Apple Music user, but my default music app is Deezer. Every time I connect my iPhone with iOS 15 to Mercedes Benz multimedia with CarPlay, it starts playing Apple Music even if it is not open or in use. [Edited by Moderator]
