I don’t want to subscribe to Apple Music. I have purchased a large library of music over the years that I want to continue to use and am happy to continue to purchase music. How do I do this? Whenever I try to search and preview songs I may want to purchase it takes me to the subscription pop up which I don’t want.

You can still buy song downloads from the iTunes Store, per the steps in here:

When you get the popup about a subscription, say no. If you get tired of it, turn it off in Preferences > Restrictions as shown below.
