I have an iPhone 6 what is the latest version update I am able to put on my phone without messing it up. I know that older phones can only handle updates I’m just so far and I’m wondering if anybody knows what is the latest version I should have on my6. Do I upload the 14/15 or do I leave it where it is at

if you have an iPhone 6, you cannot update beyond iOS 12.. you'll need a newer iPhone model
An iPhone 6 can only update to iOS 12.5.5.
Go to Settings/General/Software Update and it will allow you to update to the latest version that is compatible with your model phone

If I update that phone Will it quit working do you know? I’m not much for being tech savvy. I don’t wanna update it and then it quit working altogether I would just leave it as it as is.. Thank you for your comments and support
