Two Pages Side By Side in Preview.app

I have noticed that Preview displays the first page on its own in 2 Pages view mode.

Then the next two pages (if there are two pages in the document) are displayed side by side.

If you have a two page document, such as sheet music, that you want to display side by side then an easy fix is to insert a page at the beginning. I put a random one page document in front of the two I wanted to see together, but any way is fine.

view options in preview When opening a 2-page pdf in Preview, if it's set to "2 page view", only the first page shows, and the page needs to be turned to show the next page. Wouldn't it make more sense if I choose "2 pages" in the view menu, that it would show both pages? Is there a way to make this the default, and why would it be otherwise?

Apple Preview full screen page arrangement Hi there, Sometimes when I read a magazine in Full Page view with Apple Preview (Crtl+Cmd+F), I note that arrangement of the pages is wrong. I don't see let say page 1 on the left and 2 on the right, but page 2 on left and page 3 on right. Is anything I could do to rearrange the pages in the correct order? Thanks for your help. Mitja

Does the two-page view in Preview still not work? I can't seem to find anywhere (here or online) how to view two-pages of a pdf file in Preview. I select View > Two pages and still only see one page no matter how I zoom in or out. This seems pretty basic and I'm not complaining, just trying to figure out why it doesn't work.
